The Clay Center

The Clay Center in Charleston has a really cool childrens museum and science center. Tyler loved it, he could touch everything and push all the buttons he wanted and no one told him no! It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon!

In the music room he found a Tyler size guitar...

...and drum! I really should get him some instruments, but it's more fun when we play drums with my plastic mixing bowls and wooden spoons!

In another area they had a musical spider.

You touched each instrument to hear what it sounded like.

These flowers were fun, when you pushed the blue button air came out of the flowers to make the balls float.

Tyler liked knocking the floating balls off the most. Then he and Terri would pick them up, put them back on the flowers and do it all over again!

The air gun was Tyler's absolute favorite! You put a ball in the tube and it shot into the ball pit. Here he's asking Granny to throw him a ball.

Now he can smile for a picture!

The ball pit.

He liked the 'log' more than the pit itself!

The 'tree house' in the toddler room.

He liked the bouncy bridge.
