Twins

I didn't think Riley looked like Tyler, until I found these pictures. Boy was I wrong!

Tyler's first day home.

It's hard to believe, but Tyler did have dark hair in the beginning! I love this picture!

Why we won't be getting a dog any time soon...

This is one of the many reasons! I think we'll wait until the kids are much older!

FYI: I published two other posts today, but they showed up below the one about the clay center. I'm not sure why, but at least they made it onto my page!

The Clay Center

The Clay Center in Charleston has a really cool childrens museum and science center. Tyler loved it, he could touch everything and push all the buttons he wanted and no one told him no! It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon!

In the music room he found a Tyler size guitar...

...and drum! I really should get him some instruments, but it's more fun when we play drums with my plastic mixing bowls and wooden spoons!

In another area they had a musical spider.

You touched each instrument to hear what it sounded like.

These flowers were fun, when you pushed the blue button air came out of the flowers to make the balls float.

Tyler liked knocking the floating balls off the most. Then he and Terri would pick them up, put them back on the flowers and do it all over again!

The air gun was Tyler's absolute favorite! You put a ball in the tube and it shot into the ball pit. Here he's asking Granny to throw him a ball.

Now he can smile for a picture!

The ball pit.

He liked the 'log' more than the pit itself!

The 'tree house' in the toddler room.

He liked the bouncy bridge.

Random pics from our trip.

Grandpa with the boys.

Riley loves taking baths!

He fell asleep while being held like this!

Tyler found an Ensign and was 'reading' it to Terri.

He told her it was a book about Jesus!

My little burrito!

One morning Tyler decided to read to Riley!

Uncle Daniel and Riley

Buddies

My brother has a 2 year old boxer who absolutely LOVES Tyler. I'm pretty sure she has adopted him as her puppy! She is very protective of him. If he screams while playing chase, or wrestling with his uncles she will let you know she doesn't like it! His bed even became her favorite place to sleep at night!

This is one of Tylers favorite things to do at my parents house!

He actually gets in and then tells us to take a picture!

She really doesn't like being brushed...

...but she lets Tyler do just about anything!

They shared DD's bed as well!

Uncle Daniel

Tyler has been obsessed with skateboarding ever since Christmas. Why? Two words: Uncle Daniel! Tyler was watching Daniel skateboard at Christmas and wanted to try. So Daniel had him stand on the board and held Tyler's hands as he walked him up and down our street, over and over and over again! Ever since then Tyler has loved skateboards. He is always pretending he's skateboarding. During the summer he would even stand side-ways before jumping in the pool because he was jumping from his 'skateboard'. When he saw Daniel for the first time this trip his first words were, "Daniel! Go skateboarding!" Well Daniel somehow convinced my parents to let him build a ramp in their garage. Where do you think Tyler wanted to go every day? Yeah, we spent a lot of time in the garage! Plus he loved wearing that helmet!

It's much easier without wheels!

This is what we did in the garage! The person lucky enough to be chosen to go with Tyler got to sit on one side of the ramp and push him, kind of like swinging. As Tyler got braver he would ask to be pushed faster so he could go to the top of the ramp! Who wouldn't love skateboarding if your the one sitting on the board!?!

Happy Birthday Terri!

Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Terri! Happy Birthday to you! Today is my sisters 33rd birthday! Tyler was so excited to call her and sing to her!
